Spencer Pratt Presents: "Inland Empire 909" (A Blatant Jersey Shore Knockoff)

The Inland Empire (I.E.), colloquially known as the IE, is a metropolitan area centered around the cities of Riverside and San Bernardino in Southern California.
This region east of Los Angeles is also the site of Spencer Pratt's new reality show, Inland Empire 909, which you will likely never see on any television station.
Obsessed with Jersey Shore since its premiere, which also coincided with his own decline in relevance, Spencer is desperately trying to cash in on the concept.

Now an unemployed filmmaker, Spencer Pratt gushed to Radar about his new reality show, which he'll be "shopping to the networks in the coming weeks.”
“These girls will eat the cast of Jersey Shore alive,” said the former Hills villain. “They will keep it real and not say they are only that way for a show.”
“To be honest, I'm scared of the entire cast. Lauren from 909 is younger and more wild then J-Woww and they fight for real every single night.”
The Inland Empire 909 trailer begins on a black screen, then states the absurd number of viewers (4.8 million) that watched the Jersey Shore finale.
909 then promises a “younger and sexier” cast.
“They are the next level of reality TV. Where Jersey Shore and the East Coast has Snooki, the West Coast has T-BONE aka Tayrn, tearing it UP!" Mr. Heidi Montag boasts. ”The 909 is untapped, reality TV gold audiences have been waiting for.”
The 909 trailer shows troubled cast members barbequing and discussing sex, fights, partying and more. One guy reveals his stomach. Real original.
At least his quote-unquote feature film, Tower 69: Malibu Beach Patrol Featuring 3-D Boobs, was his own idea. A hilariously bad one, but his own.

Ali Larter on New Jersey-Based Reality Shows: Terrible!

Ali Larter won't be sending Snooki or Teresa Giudice a Christmas card.
In a recent discussion with E! News, the beautiful actress says she isn't a fan of reality shows that depict her native New Jersey in a negative, stereotypical light.
"I've seen a couple of them and I feel like it's such a terrible depiction of our lovely Garden State," said the former Heroes star, who is due to give birth on Christmas.

Sorry, Snooki and Teresa. But we're on Ali Larter's side because... well, she's anything but a grenade.
Is Larter saying there are no guidos or guidettes in the region?
"There's definitely some guidos in New Jersey, but where I grew up it's like the cranberry bogs, the forests, and the farm... going apple picking and rolling green hills," she said.
Larter concluded her mini rant by labeling Jersey as "beautiful and amazing." Coming from someone who looks like THIS, she is an expert in these areas.

Inside the Explosive Cyrus Family Fight: What Led to Divorce?

Rumors of an affair between Tish Cyrus and Bret Michaels have faded away, as both side immediately shot down this silly talk.
But The National Enquirer has come out with a new basis for Tish's recent divorce from husband Billy Ray, a split that could find the ex-couple battling over close to $100 million.

Billy Ray looked cool and collected at the CMAs this week. But that was apparently not the case last month.
The break-up is allegedly the result of a furious fight between the pair, as the tabloid claims Billy Ray grounded Miley Cyrus for talking back to him.
Tish intervened, reportedly undermined her husband - and the result was a rage-filled Billy Ray trying to knock down his wife's bedroom door out of anger for her actions.
"Billy screamed terrible things at Tish," says an insider. "Tish locked herself in her bedroom to escape Billy Ray's wrath. And he pounded on the door screaming: 'Come out here and talk to me, bitch! You let everyone run wild when I'm not here! It's going to STOP!'"
As always, it's important to point out the questionable source here. But it's also important to remember: The National Enquirer was actually, incredibly nominated for a Pulitzer Prize this year, based on its accurate reporting of the John Edward/Rielle Hunter affair.
Does that mean every story it reports on is valid? Not even close. But it does mean we need to take its accusations a bit more seriously than we did in the past. Are you buying this one?

Style Showdown: Blake Lively vs. Rihanna vs. Madonna

When it comes to setting, not just following fashion trends, Blake Lively, Rihanna and Madonna all know a thing or two about a thing or two. But who will prevail in this fashion face-off and who'll get the boot (sort of literally)?
The Queen of Pop and the Gossip Girl star both wore Stella McCartney thigh-highs out recently, but it was the "Only Girl in the World" singer who actually wore them first (last fall). Who do they look best on? You tell us!

Kurt Warner Voted Off Dancing With the Stars

While Monday's episode of Dancing With the Stars was a bit of a blur, last night's was a bit of a foregone conclusion. One of two people would be leaving us.
Those people were not Kyle Massey, Jennifer Grey or Brandy. The instant dance portion of the night helped them, but Kurt Warner and Bristol Palin suffered.
It was these low-scoring celebs who had to worry. When Brandy was placed in the bottom two with Kurt, it was over. The conspiracy theory is alive and well.

Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya gave it a heck of a run.
Ridiculous as it is that Bristol Palin is somehow in the final four this season, the ousted NFL quarterback didn't seem to be shocked by the outcome Tuesday.
"I think, obviously there was the possibility when you're at the bottom two," Kurt Warner said. "We came in a number of times this year when we were low and kind of expected that the possibility was there, and you prepare yourself for that."
"I'm going to miss [Anna Trebunskaya]," added two-time NFL MVP Kurt. "You know, I mean, when you spend so much time with someone and build this relationship, you know, it's going to be tough not seeing her every day."
"You're going to miss Monday nights," joked partner Anna. "You're going to miss going out there in the bright neon green with fringes on your pants."

American Idol Auditions: News, Notes and Country Singers Galore!

With American Idol set to return to the air in January, auditions are underway for the next Adam Lambert or Kris Allen.
How are they going so far? Producer Nigel Lythgoe answered that question for People magazine this week, going into detail on a number of topics. To wit:
Season 10 Panel
Who has auditioned so far? "We're seeing quite a lot of country singers, a lot of young talent because we've opened it up to 15-year-olds now."
How is J-Lo faring as a judge? "Jennifer actually critiques what's in front of her. She doesn't just throw out glib remarks. She listens, she weighs it up and then she says how she feels."
And Steven Tyler? "[He] doesn't have a bad bone in his body and finds it very difficult to say 'you suck' to anybody."
What's his take on instruments? "People sort of lost a little bit behind instruments. I see no reason why we won't use guitars and pianos at least once or twice across the season, but I don't just want them everyday behind the bloody guitar."
And celebrity guest judges? "I'm not sure I'm going to use any guest judges, to be frank. We've got an entire record company behind it now with Interscope. We've got Jimmy Iovine and all of his producers... You've got real professionals here. I don't know why I need anyone else. They'll just get in the way."
Think that's a good plan? Are you excited for season 10 of American Idol?
