Bristol Palin is a Dancing With the Stars Finalist; Brandy Eliminated in Stunner!

WTF. There's no other intro we can muster right now.
It's not anything new that Dancing With the Stars is more about popular support than technical merit, especially with mediocre, middle of the pack performers. But at some point, you'd assume the better dancers would be rewarded.
You'd assume wrong, apparently. Bristol Palin will be joining Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey in next week's finals, with a deserving Brandy on the sidelines.

Somehow, Brandy and Maks will be watching, not dancing in the finals.

No sooner had we talked about how Palin's run personally irked Maksim Chmerkovskiy than he and Brandy got the boot Tuesday, despite great dancing Monday.
A record-high number of votes made it happen, too.
"One thing that I love, for my family, the choice they made to come to this country," said Ukrainian-born Maks, taking the high road, "the fact that people vote and voices count. I love that this show represents that, the people's choice."
"I don't regret a second of the last five years of my being on the show and definitely not a second of me being on this season. It's been an amazing journey."
Uhhnh, did Maks just pseudo-quit Dancing With the Stars?
Apparently millions of voters felt she totally deserved it, but one person on stage didn't look stunned, including Bristol herself and partner Mark Ballas.
Imagine if she actually wins this thing next week.

We know she works her butt off, and there's nothing objectionable about her on a fundamental level. But she can't dance. It's time for this to end.
All we have to say is that Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey voters? You better be on your robo-texting game, because the Palin movement is no joke.
Call it a conspiracy, call it pure enthusiasm for the teen mom next door. Whatever you want to label her, she's one of the final three this season.

Eva Longoria Divorce Update: Actress May File Soon, Tony Parker Infidelity Rumored

Eva Longoria's rep shot down a report that Tony Parker filed for divorce in Texas this week, but that doesn't appear to be the end of the marriage drama.
A source tells People that the Desperate Housewives actress does in fact plan to file divorce papers of her own soon, perhaps as early as this afternoon.
Longoria was "totally and completely blindsided" by reports appearing this week of infidelity by Parker, who plays for the NBA's San Antonio Spurs.

The pair were married three years ago in a castle in France. We will have more on the Eva Longoria-Tony Parker divorce drama if and when details emerge.

Bruce Beresford-Redman Arrested for Killing Wife

Bruce Beresford-Redman is no longer merely a suspect in the murder of his wife. The television producer has finally been arrested for this heinous crime.
Beresford-Redman - who was detained in April after wife Monica turned up dead in Mexico, near where the couple had been vacationing - was arrested in his home outside Los Angeles yesterday. He's in federal custody and, according to documents obtained by TMZ, will be extradited to Mexico.

The tragic murder of Monica Beresford-Redman has made for tabloid fodder for months now.

Monica's body was found in a sewer at the Moon Palace resort in Cancun earlier this year. It later came out that Bruce had been having an affair, and authorities have spent the time since building a case against the former producer of Survivor.

An arrest was made yesterday because Mexican police now believe they have compiled enough evidence against the alleged murderer. This includes:

• Email confirmation of Bruce's infidelity.
• Forensic experts finding blood stains on a pillar in the hotel room Bruce and Monica shared, as well as on the sheets and on a railing.
• Two teenagers in the room below Bruce's who are on record as saying they were awakened by "screams, crying for help and extremely loud banging from the room above... it sounded like a woman in extreme distress."
• Marks found by authorities on Bruce's hands, behind his ear, on his left shin and on his right ankle shortly after his wife went missing.

Beresford-Redman will appear in a federal courtroom in Los Angeles today.

Demi Lovato Described as "Out of Control Mess" While Dating Joe Jonas

At this point, it's no secret that Demi Lovato has been dealing with a number of issues for a very long time.
How did those problems affect this singer's relationship with Joe Jonas? Greatly, according to the latest issue of People.
A source tells that publication Joe had little choice but to end things because “Demi’s attitude and behavior were out of control.” This insider goes on to refer to Demi as “a tortured mess."

Lovato's struggles hit a climax on a plane out of Peru, as has already been detailed. She believed backup dancer Alex Welch had tattled on her partying habits and, according to this story:

"Walked onto the plane, did not look at the girl, then suddenly punched her in the face and threatened her with a slew of expletives. Demi’s manager asked her, ‘Are you in control at all?’ She said, ‘Sorry, I just lost it.’”

From there, Demi agreed to seek treatment - and now we're all rooting for her to get better.
