Willow Palin Defends Sarah's TLC Show in Homophobic, Poorly-Written Facebook Rant

With Bristol Palin earning a place in the Dancing With the Stars finals, this week should have been a triumph for Alaska's best-known family. No longer.
Willow Palin, Bristol's sis and the 16-year-old daughter of former governor/VP nominee Sarah Palin, went on a homophobic rant on Facebook this week.
That's what happens when fellow users bash her mom's new reality show, Sarah Palin's Alaska. Feisty teen grizzlies gotta stand up for their mama!

Sarah Palin has taught Willow such good values. And grammar.

Willow's target, a person named Tre who goes to school with the Palin kids, wrote a status update the night of the TLC show's premiere, which read:
"Sarah Palin's Alaska is failing so hard right now."
Willow Palin fired back, "Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I've seen pictures of, your disgusting. My sister had a kid and is still hot."
She later added, "Tre stfu. You such a f*ggot. I'm sticking up for my family."
Bristol Palin herself then came to her family's defense as well, firing off a biting report to Tre, "You're running your mouth just to talk sh*t."
What a class act this family is.
The girls could have simply cited the ratings, which proved Sarah Palin's Alaska was anything but a failure, netting over five million viewers. But alas.
All hell broke loose between Facebook critics and the Palins, with Bristol lashing out at someone named Jon (while also taking aim at Levi Johnston).
"You'll be as successful as my baby daddy," she wrote.

While readers continue to debate whether Emma Watson looks better with short or long hair, the movie star has given fans more to debate.
Over the last few days, the actress graced the red carpet at a pair of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premieres; first in London and then, last night, in New York City.

Will you be inviting Taylor Swift to Thanksgiving this year?
On the night of November 25, the singer will be featured on an NBC special, as she belts out renditions of “Mine,” “Sparks Fly,” “Story of Us,” “Enchanted,” and “Speak Now" from various locations. One of them will be a rooftop in NYC, as previewed in the rehearsal photo here:

This program will treat viewers to a behind-the-scenes look at Swift’s world, from recording in the studio to signings autographs for fans to avoiding paparazzi on the streets.

But the special will also have some serious competition: ABC is planning a Beyonce feature for the same night.

Nicole Richie and Joe Madden to Wed Next Month?

The date has FINALLY been set for the wedding of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, at least if you're inclined to believe anonymous Radar Online sources.
For what it's worth, the alleged date is in early December.
The former Simple Life star and her rocker fiancee are set to tie the knot before a star-studded guest list at the Beverly Hills home of Nicole's proud dad.

Are Nicole and Joel (with Harlow) about to make it official?

"Christmas has always been about family and faith for Nicole and Joel, so there is not better time of the year for them to wed," an insider told the site.
While the super-secret details of theirs nuptials have not yet been released, close pal Christina Aguilera and Samantha Ronson are planning to attend.
The maid of honor will be Nic's best friend, Masha Gordon, Joel's twin brother, Benji, will be best man, and their daughter Harlow will be a flower girl.
Father Lionel Richie will walk Nicole down the aisle.
The pair, who confirmed their engagement in February after dating since 2006, also have a son, Sparrow. If the big day really is near, congratulations!

Following many years of dating, and countless misleading tabloid cover stories, Kate Middleton and Prince William announced their engagement this week.
How do the former's parents feel about their daughter becoming an official part of the royal family in 2011? Pretty darn great!
"I would just like to say that Carole and I are absolutely delighted by today's announcement and thrilled by the prospect of a wedding sometime next year," said father Michael Middleton. "They make a lovely couple. They're great fun to be with and we've had a lot of laughs together. We wish them every happiness for the future."

The Wate-ing Game: William and Kate have made their love official.

William and Kate (who will be referred to as "Catherine" going forward) also met with the press this morning. At the media session, the Prince said he proposed with his mother's engagement ring (SEE IT BELOW).

"It is very special to me," William said. "It was my way to make sure my mother did not miss out on today and the excitement that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together."

Lindsay Lohan to Lose Linda Lovelace Role?

Is Lindsay Lohan on the verge of losing her role as Linda Lovelace in Inferno? Producers have been patient, but say there's definitely a Plan B in the works.
Director Matthew Wilder has stood by Lindsay through her legal woes, waiting for her to star as the legendary porn star. But he's exploring all options.
After all, Lohan will be in rehab at least until January 3 per court order, and it's unclear if she'll be rushing back to work even when she does get out.

Will Lindsay's Linda Lovelace biopic role be there when she gets out?

"We have been through a lot here, and although she is still our number one choice - we do have a Plan B if she cannot film Inferno," Wilder said.
"We have had a great response from other people who really want the part too. But we will wait until Lindsay has fulfilled all of her obligations."
Lohan's failed drug test in September forced Wilder and his producers to make plans beyond Lohan, who has not signed a binding contract, either.
For what it's worth, Linds has been dong well in rehab and so far has followed the rules imposed on her by both her counselors and the courts.
Time will tell if she can really turn things around, and what role work will play in her life immediately following her discharge from Betty Ford.
She's born for this role, though. Here's hoping it works out.
